Keri Hicks, LCSW, is a licensed social worker and behavioral specialist, whose practice focuses on families and children, and the very real frustrations of parenting. When children exhibit difficult behaviors, it impacts the whole family.
Through thorough consultation and careful assessment, Keri’s approach helps families identify problem behaviors, explore family dynamics and create goals and plans for managing the situation. By focusing on practical solutions that create meaningful change, Keri’s approach is designed to help make the very hard job of parenting just a little bit easier.
Keri received her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania and her BA from Johns Hopkins University. In her 15 year career, Keri has overseen clinical services to hundreds of families and children, as well as adults in psychiatric crisis, and those suffering from chronic mental health conditions. Keri holds a certificate in Critical Incident Stress Management from the University of Maryland and is a certified rape and domestic violence counselor with the State of New York.
